Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Field Technician

Tampa, FL (Must be willing to travel as necessary)

This is a full-time on-site role for a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Field Technician at Advanced Telecom Systems. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and testing of cellular DAS and public safety systems. This includes conducting physical site surveys, system commissioning and optimization, troubleshooting, and system installation. The Field Technician will also assist in cellular RF data collection and public safety grid tests.

• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing of cellular or public safety DAS

• Knowledge of iBwave design software and RF data collection

• Basic understanding of carrier coordination and public safety code requirements

• Ability to conduct physical site surveys and perform system commissioning

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and follow given instructions

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

• Certifications in related fields such as DAS or RF engineering are a plus

• Travel will be required often

$55 to 65k/yr + Bonus Potential (Compensation will be discussed further during the interview process)
